Sound Level Measurements:
Sound level measurements involve using a sound level meter to measure the intensity of sound in decibels (dB). This assessment helps identify the overall noise levels in an area or specific sources of noise.
Area Noise Mapping:
Area noise mapping involves creating a visual representation of noise levels in a specific area or facility. It helps identify areas with high noise exposure and aids in the development of targeted noise control strategies.
Task-Based Noise Assessments:
Task-based noise assessments focus on measuring noise levels associated with specific job tasks or activities. It helps identify high-risk tasks and allows for targeted control measures to reduce noise exposure during those activities.
Personal Noise Exposure Assessments:
Personal noise exposure assessments involve measuring the noise exposure levels experienced by individual workers over a specified period. This assessment helps determine if individuals are at risk of exceeding permissible noise exposure limits.
Frequency analysis assesses the distribution of sound energy across different frequencies. This assessment helps identify specific frequency ranges where noise levels are highest, which can be valuable in selecting appropriate hearing protection devices.
Octave Band Analysis:

Time-Weighted Average (TWA) Measurements:
