What Does Asbestos Testing Include?

We test for all six regulated types of asbestos including:

Flat Rate: Starting at $495 + lab fees
  • Includes first 3 samples
  • Add-on pricing for each additional sample
  • Emergency and same-day service available (additional fee)
If you want you can collect you sample and drop it off at our office for $200.00 for the first sample and $70.00 for each additional  sample.

Q1: Do I need asbestos testing before renovations?
Yes, Alberta and  BC law requires testing before disturbing any materials that may contain asbestos.
​Q2: Can I collect samples myself?
We don’t recommend it. Disturbing asbestos-containing material can release fibers into the air. Always use a trained professional.  If you do collect your own sample, please follow this procedure  asbestos_bulk_sample_collection_procedures.pdf 


Q3: How long does it take to get results?
Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days. Rush service is available.
Q4: Are your reports accepted by municipalities and contractors?
